Hasli/ Hansuli

A rigid Silver torque. Derives its name from the collar bone where it rests.

This basic torque form, preferably of one solid piece of metal, is worn throughout the Gangetic plain area.
Every region has a different name for the Hasli.

Serin in Jammu/Kashmir
Sutya in West Bengal and Bihar
Kanti in Andhra Pradesh
