This October, Aham Jewellery returns to Bengaluru for Vastrabharana 2026, presented by the Crafts Council of Karnataka. This time, Aham will be part of the dedicated Jewellery Pavilion at Devraj Urs Gallery, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath.

If you are discovering Aham for the first time through Vastrabharana, here is a little about who we are and what you can expect to find.
What is Aham Jewellery?
Aham is a jewellery brand from Ahmedabad with a deep interest in Indian silver jewellery and the traditions behind it.
For us, jewellery is much more than an accessory. India has an extraordinary vocabulary of jewellery that has evolved across regions, communities and generations. A neckpiece from Rajasthan can tell a very different story from a silver ornament from Gujarat. Tribal jewellery from Madhya Pradesh has its own language, while temple-inspired forms from South India carry another.
Aham began with a fascination for these differences.
Over the years, we have built a collection of handcrafted silver jewellery by looking for distinctive forms and traditional craftsmanship from different parts of India. Our collections bring together regional jewellery traditions, vintage pieces, contemporary interpretations and designs that feel at home today.
Our website currently brings together more than a thousand silver jewellery pieces across categories such as earrings, neckpieces, pendants, rings, bangles and kadas, along with specialised collections in tribal silver, gold-polish silver, two-tone silver and moissanite jewellery.
Silver jewellery with a sense of place
One of the things that defines Aham is our interest in jewellery that has a connection to where it comes from.
Our Tribe Collective, for example, brings together tribal silver jewellery and regional forms from across India. The collection includes jewellery traditions from Himachal, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, along with distinctive forms from southern India. Some pieces are vintage, while others are made using traditional techniques that have been carried through generations.
Our collection also includes Bandhel jewellery, with two-tone silver earrings, neckpieces, chokers, rings, bangles and kadas. Then there are collections such as Mewad, Noori, Rang Mahal and other regional and design-led pieces that explore different sides of Indian jewellery.
The result is not one single Aham style.
It is a collection of many Indian jewellery traditions, brought together through a shared appreciation for silver, craftsmanship and design.
From traditional silver to contemporary jewellery
While much of Aham's inspiration comes from traditional Indian jewellery, the collection is not limited to heritage pieces.
We work across different expressions of silver.
There is the simplicity of handcrafted silver jewellery in its natural form. There is gold-polish silver jewellery for occasions where a warmer finish works better. There is two-tone silver jewellery, where contrasting finishes bring out the detail of traditional forms. And there is our collection of moissanite gold-polish silver jewellery, bringing together the look of fine jewellery with the versatility of silver.
You may find an elaborate tribal neckpiece sitting alongside a contemporary silver ring. A traditional jhumkie may share the collection with a modern two-tone design.
That contrast is part of what makes the Aham collection interesting.
What will Aham bring to Vastrabharana 2026?
For Bengaluru, we are bringing a curated selection rather than attempting to bring everything we have online.
You can expect to see some of our ethnic tribal silver jewellery, including distinctive neckpieces, earrings, kadas and other forms inspired by India's regional jewellery traditions.
There will also be festive gold-polish silver jewellery, selected for celebrations, weddings and occasions where traditional forms call for a little more warmth.
Our contemporary two-tone silver jewellery will bring another dimension to the collection, combining traditional motifs with contrasting silver finishes. And then there are the pieces we always enjoy bringing to an exhibition: the unusual ones.
Rare finds. Older forms. Distinctive pieces. Jewellery that catches your eye because it is unlike everything else around it.Some of these pieces are available only in very limited quantities, and once they are gone, they may not return.

Vastrabharana has a long association with Indian textiles, crafts and jewellery. Organised by the Crafts Council of Karnataka, the event brings together more than 50+ craftspeople and makers from across India and has grown into an important annual textile and jewellery event in Bengaluru.
